Independence Day!

Our wonderful neighbors, the Grants, had us over to celebrate the 4th with them. Left to right: Terry with Adam, Jonathan, Heather, Jon, Chris, Sherry and Allie! :) Love you guys and thanks for being our family away from home! :)

Allie hangin out with her BFF, Heather! :)

Kisses from ??? I'm not sure which dog this is... they have three Yorkie's and two of them look a lot alike. :)
Sherry with Adam
And Allie
Looking festive in our Red, White and Blue! :)
After dinner with the Grants we went to Base to watch the fireworks.

Lee Ann Womack was there to help us celebrate... what fun! :)
Adam getting sleepy!
He didn't make it... he slept through all the fireworks! :)
Jonathan, Heather and Allie
Christina, Allie and Mackenzie. Our kids matched but we didn't get a pic of the boys! :(
Bonny and Abbey
Angela, Adison and Allie.

Allie loved them! ;p

Afterwards we went over to Angela's and had a sleep over. This was Bonny with the kids the next morning. I think they were singing together. :)
Off to Cracker Barrel for a yummy breakfast.

It was a fun filled holiday, but we missed daddy and wish he could have spent it with us! :( Oct. is coming fast and daddy will be home before we know it. We can't wait - Miss you hon!!!!

Pics for Daddy!

This one is for daddy! You might want to come home soon! :) HE HE!
He looks good in pearls, right? :)

Miss you daddy!

This is our newest pet... isn't he/she cute! :{ I went to turn our front light on the other night and found this cute critter on the front step. We feed some of the neighborhood cats and I never thought to bring the food in at night. Now I do... don't like the idea of an opossum, a big rat in my opinion, eating right out my front door! :( YUCK!!!
Allie and Adam playing together.... they usually play very well, but sometimes Allie takes being the "mommy" very serious. Today I heard her saying, "time out, time out!" Didn't think anything of it until Adam started crying. After going in the room to investigate, I found Adam sitting in the corner crying. A place Alie has to go for her "time outs!" I don't think Adam likes it when he has two mommies! :)

These pics. are for Chris so he can see what a mess our house was during the new carpet install. Enjoy!
Allie found a little place to play while the rest of the house was being torn apart! :[ Then Terry and John came to our rescue and let Allie spend the rest of the evening with them. They even feed her dinner! Thanks guys! :)

Getting ready for the new padding.
Everything went into the living room, kitchen and bathrooms.

This is our bathroom... they fit everything in here but our mattress and part of Adam's crib.

The other bathroom!
NEW CARPET!!! It looks and feels soo good! :)

Happy Birthday Jason!

Happy Birthday Jas! I'm so sorry you had to spend your birthday alone and not with your little family! :( Doesn't it stink that we have to grow up and get old - And birthdays just aren't as exciting as they were when we were kids. :(

We hope school is going well for you and that soon you and your family can all be together again. :) We love ya and wanted you to know we were thinking about you today! :)

Lots of love,

Chris, Michelle, Allie and Adam

Allie's 1st Braids!

I have always loved braiding hair and have been waiting a long time for Allie's hair to grow out. It's still kinda short, but I was able to braid it for the 1st time last week! It looked soo cute.
Her hair is also very fine, so the braids didn't look this good all day!

Can't believe our little girl is three! ;)

Allie is such a big helper these days and remembers everything!!! This morning I asked her if she wanted to make pancakes for breakfast. Her answer was YES, and she went right to the pantry to get out the mix. Yes, I use a mix... I'm not my mom or my grandmom, and sometimes I make things that come out of a box! Anyway, Allie then told me that we needed eggs, milk and water to make the pancakes. She was right on the eggs and milk, but the last ingredient was oil not water. I was pretty amazed though. Thought it was cool that she remembered what we needed to make our breakfast! :) What a stinker!
The hair after the braids came out! :) I found these two playing under the sink the other day. Fun place to play if you're three and 8 months! :)
