They're Here!

They made it! Chris and Michelle arrived in Pa on Monday and we are having a super good time together. There is just something about being with family that's so "over the top" cool...Allie is keeping me on my toes, and Adam is a total cutie who LOVES his Daddy. They're so adorable! I'm so glad that they are here. We are having a great time!...Saturday we plan on watching the kids while the two "couples" go to the Penn State game. They better win!!! Be sure to keep checking in, Michelle is planing to post pictures soon...Lots of love!

Weekend Bike Ride

Last Saturday Chris and I, along with our friends, Earl and Gail drove to Clinton, NC for their Bike Toy Run/Bike Show/Car Show and fundraiser for U-Care. U-Care helps out victims of domestic abuse. It was my 1st real bike ride and boy did it start out as a cold one!!! We left around 8:30 am and it was still quite nippy out - As you can see by how bundled up I am in this next picture. :) It was a fun day and I was thankful for the time Chris and I got to spend together with no kids. Thanks to our neighbors for watching Adam and Gail's sister for watching Allie. We appreciate you guys and I'm sure it was a long day for you all! :)

The group ride.Yeah, I was the ONLY one that didn't have black leather on. ;p After the ride they handed out awards for the bikes and cars. Chris and Earl both won. Chris won "Best in show", and Earl the "People's choice award!"

Fall 2008

Chris is off work now and we're getting ready to make our trip up to PA. We're coming up for Lizzy's wedding and Thanksgiving. I probably won't be posting many pics while we're home. Our schedule is usually way too busy. But, since we're coming up for Thanksgiving and not Christmas this year, maybe things will be less stressful and I'll get some free time to post on the blog! :)

Adam was too slow with his stroller so we made him leave it behind for our walk in the woods! :)

Adam is trying to peddle with his feet now, but still can't reach. I think it's amazing how kids pick up on things you don't even try to teach them. He'll be riding before we know it!"This is way too frustrating! I need longer legs!!"

He loves daddy's John Deere and climbs up on it every chance he gets!

Trick or Treating

Our computer was having some "issues" over the last few days, so I'm a little behind on posting pictures. Trick or treating was a big hit with Allie this year. Adam on the other hand just had fun running from house to house and chasing the poor girls around! :p It was a very cool night, so I was happy we had picked out costumes that were nice and warm! :) Little miss butterfly.
