Lieutenant To Captain!

Last week Chris was promoted from Lieutenant to Captain - way to go, honey!!! :) His company had a promotion ceremony that the kids and I attended and I even participated in. I'm very proud of Chris and all his accomplishments. Not only for being such a hard working man, but also for the example he is to those he works with. I've been told many times by different Marines what an awesome husband I have and what a great leader his is. Not only do his Marines look up to him, but those over him (like his Battalion Commander) value his common sense and wisdom. I know Chris won't like that I'm saying all this, but I think he deserves the praise and I want him to know how much we love and appreciate him! :) Before the ceremony.

January Days!

Such a ham!

Princess Allie!

Playing house.
Even Adam loves playing with Allie's babies and kitchen.... Don't tell daddy! :)

Adam with Aiden and Kyle. Check out Adam's Harley Davidson Tattoo.

All three of us took a nap on the sofa the other day. The phone rang and I had to get up, but our two sleeping beauties enjoy a nice long nap together. :)

Christmas Morning!

Here it's January already and I'm just getting around to posting the rest of our Christmas pictures. We've been pretty busy the last few weeks. We just put our house on the market and before we could do that, we had a few projects to finish up. Chris now has orders to work with a reservist unit (I&I) in West Virgina. Because the location is so close to PA we're hoping to buy a house in PA and Chris would just commute. We've just started the whole moving process and I'm already finding myself stressed out. Something I told myself I wouldn't do. There are just too many "what ifs" - I need to concentrate on all the positives and leave the rest up to God. :) Not always an easy task. Anyways, enjoy the pics and I'll keep everyone posted on our big move!! :) Wow, lots of gifts from Santa!

She thinks she's so cool -- she's now just like daddy! :)

Christmas Dinner!

We made lots so we would have plenty of leftovers!! :) It worked - I didn't have to cook the whole next week! :)
