Last week Chris was promoted from Lieutenant to Captain - way to go, honey!!! :) His company had a promotion ceremony that the kids and I attended and I even participated in. I'm very proud of Chris and all his accomplishments. Not only for being such a hard working man, but also for the example he is to those he works with. I've been told many times by different Marines what an awesome husband I have and what a great leader his is. Not only do his Marines look up to him, but those over him (like his Battalion Commander) value his common sense and wisdom. I know Chris won't like that I'm saying all this, but I think he deserves the praise and I want him to know how much we love and appreciate him! :)

I left you guys a congrats message on myspace last week when I found out Chris got promoted, but didn't hear back from you. I was beginning to think I'd heard wrong. LOL Glad to see the pictures! Congrats!
