Now that we're "settled" (we're all unpacked, but we still have lots of painting to do and the task of making this new house a home) in our new home it's time for some blogging. We start back in NC.... enjoy!

Erin kept the kids for us the day they packed the truck.... what a life saver.... they (Allie and Adam) were into everything!! :) We love and miss you guys too. Wish you still lived only 20 minutes from us! :(

Moving in!
Allie fell asleep while the movers were unloading our stuff. It was really cold that day and we had to leave the doors all open. We made a little nest for Allie and she took a nice long nap! :)

Chris' 30th birthday was a few days after we moved into our new home. So, although we didn't do anything super special, we tried to make his day kinda fun. The kids and I got up before Chris and went out and got some goodies for breakfast.

Thanks for the update! Can't believe I'm just seeing it! So glad you are all unpacked and semi-settled! Just wish we could have come to help! I need another taxi driver here to help with transportation! Everything looks great! Can't wait to see you guys!
I'm sooo happy to see a blog update! Joey put food in his hair too. A lot of it. He always had to have a bath after breakfast. Love the pics of the kids in bed with their books. precious. I love your back deck too! We miss you guys so much here! Happy Belated Birthday Chris.
F ... I ... N ... A ... L ... L ... Y, do you know how long I've being waiting for this post? A long, long time, 38 days to be exact. It's almost like you dropped off the face of this Earth. I still hate that you live so far away and only hope I can find a weekend long enough sometime soon to come visit.
Finnaly something different to look at.Bet you will enjoy the back porch.That is what i enjoy the most at my house in the summer.Glad you are almost done unpacking and will soon be able to enjoy your new home.Maybe some time soon i will be able to come out for a visit. Not until i get through with therapy.(That will be a couple mounths yet.)

The house is gorgeous! The kids are so cute. Looking at all the pics made me miss you guys more!!! Mackenzie still asks to play with Allie. So pretty much... WE MISS YOU!!!!

Your house is beautiful. You're not alone is having LOTS to paint! We have already painted 4 bedrooms, but we still have to paint 3 bathrooms, 1 more bedroom, hallways, the kitchen, dining room, and living room! It's so hard with the kids! We miss you guys! Allie has changed so much since I last saw her! Such a beautiful little lady, not a baby anymore :( Keep updating your blog... we love seeing it! Good luck and congrats on the new house!
