Our 200th Post!

I started this blog two years ago when Chris was deployed the first time. And here we are, two years, two kids and 200 post later! I'm trying to update often so Chris feels connected to our lives here at home! We are having a great summer and getting ready for a family visit (mine) this week! Check back soon for pics of their visit! Couldn't decide between the three of this pics. so I'm posting them all. Doesn't he look like a little old man! :)

Birthday Fun!

Today we got to spend the afternoon with all the old play group (minus Bonny, Garrett and Abbey) for Thomas' third birthday. The party was at Pizza Hut, so we had lots of yummy pizza, cake and ice cream! Happy 3rd Birthday, Thomas!Allie and Landon -- and Mackenzie with a balloon for a head! :)

Last Saturday I (along with Christina, Nic, Mackenzie and Landon) took Allie and Adam to see Kung-Fu Panda at the base theater. It was a family day so there was lots of little kids and babies. :) It was fun watching Allie and seeing how she would laugh when everyone else did. We got popcorn, candy and soda. It was a real theater experience! :o)

Everyday life!

Now that Allie is three we're (I'm) having some issues with her attitude - A three minute "timeout" usually works very well with this problem. :) I'm sure if she understood, she wouldn't be to thrilled about me posting this pic! :)

Allie didn't feel well last night (bad cough), so we had a very, very long night. She ended up sleeping with me 1/2 the night and then feel out of my bed early this morning. My kids usually sleep until sometime after 8, so getting up at 6 am was too much for all of us. We made a little bed on the living room floor to watch some cartoons, and pretty soon we were all sleeping again! :) I hate how sickness always is worse at night and not getting sleep sure doesn't help the recovery time any. :( I think she is feeling better today, but is still sounding very hoarse.
