Our weekend away!

I forgot to post these pictures earlier... Chris and I went to a wedding a few weekends ago. It was our first time leaving Allie over night and the first time we have done anything (just the two of us) since we've been in the Military. Chris was part of the sword detail for the wedding, but I only got a few good pictures. :-( Funny smile :)

Turkey Day Continued...

It smells sooo good I can almost taste it!!! Oh, that's the scraps we've been steeling behind Michelle's back.

Everything went really well and it even tasted better than we could have imagined. Look out Linda and Vicki, Michelle is quite the up and coming Chef!!! Wished we could have been with you all today. Happy Thanksgiving from the Yoders!! :)

It's Thanksgiving Day morning and we enjoy our breakfast with some of Allie's favorite morning cartoons.

Time to start the Turkey!!!!Toll House Cookie Pie. Just what the Doctor ordered!! Now the house aroma is really starting to make my mouth water!!!
Mom couldn't wait to start setting her table. I'm sure as the day progresses it will become increasingly cluttered, but that is most definitely a good thing!!!

"Hangin' Out Around The House"

Allie is "helping" Dad bring in the trash can.
She likes to spy on Mom when she is working in the kitchen.Never at a loss for energy. Good thing Dad is around to help keep her occupied.
Dad thinks it is still too early to get up and face the day.

Maybe a sweet little kiss will change his mind! As you can see, Allie seems to be warming up to Daddy a whole lot better now that she is used to him being around.

Weekend Pics

Relaxing and enjoying a lazy afternoon of reading the paper together. An inseparable team, they work and play together just like old pals.

Weekend Project

Over the weekend we cut a hole through our kitchen into our breakfast/sun room. Here are some pics of the project. As you can see, we used to hang a mirror above the sink.

Daddy always seemed to have plenty of help, whether or not he seemed to want it!!

We finally punched through. Check out the old fluorescent bulb that used to hang above the sink. What an eye sore!!

Check out Michelle's new light. She is pretty proud of her new kitchen accessory.
We decided to paint the trim on the back side white so it would match better.

I had to include a pic of my newly acquired routering skills on the window sill. I managed to finagle a brand new router out of this project. Michelle keeps on tasking me, but I don't mind if I keep getting new tools out of each deal!!
